WHO ARE ENROLLMENT ASSISTERS?

Under the Affordable Care Act, you can meet with enrollment assisters in your community to help you find and enroll in the right health insurance plan.

WHO ARE ENROLLMENT ASSISTERS?

Enrollment assisters are health insurance experts in the community that help everyone find and apply for health insurance for FREE. They are trained by the federal and state government. They are sometimes called patient navigators or certified application counselors.

Enrollment assisters find out if you are eligible for Medicaid, look at your options in the Marketplace, and help you apply for financial assistance if you qualify for it. Enrollment assisters can help with the application process. They can also help you find a doctor covered by your health insurance close to where you live, or a plan that allows you to see your current doctor.

Enrollment assisters can also help you understand how to use your insurance and how to keep it going every year.
